Business Model Competition (BMC) is the event that supports to bring up young Cambodian Entrepreneurs and venture business. This project is aimed to bring up young entrepreneurs necessary for the economic development of Cambodia in the future. GLF, together with the University of Puthisastra, organized the National SME Business Plan Competition for all university students in Cambodia from 2010 to 2011. From 2012 to 2013, CIESF cooperated with the National University of Management (NUM) by changing the content aiming at the reification of the business plan by students, which starts as the National SME Business Model Competition. Particularly. Since 2014, CIESF has changed the content of the Business Model Competition. For educational methods, we take advantages of “COBLAS”, an entrepreneur training course developed by Professor Ohe at Waseda University as we did before. It helps to motivate and train young people to have business ideas and try to run their own businesses.

From the above organizing to have this BMC, GLF found it is very interesting as this BMC aims at providing a good chance for young entrepreneurs in Cambodia to show their competency and has small fund if they win the prize for their SME business, therefore, GLF supports this SME by sponsors for this competition.
